At Baxter Road Bible Church, we love our youngest treasures. Entire families are welcome and wanted in our church. The nursery provides a place of love and care for babies and toddlers, as well as a place of support for young families. As parents begin their journey in raising their children to follow Christ, our nursery ministry helps parents introduce God to their children.

All children classes are downstairs. Check in begins 15 minutes prior to service and closes 15 minutes after service begins. To ensure your child’s safety, all volunteers serving in children’s church undergo background checks and video cameras are posted in all areas except restrooms.

Baxter Kidz supports parents and children in building a Biblical foundation in the lives of our young people. Our children’s programs reflect how we practice our Christian faith at Baxter Road Bible Church:

| Prayer – Kids participate in a wide variety of types of prayer: silent prayer, praying with a friend, prayer of thanksgiving, group prayer, etc.
| Worship – Each Sunday, kids are encouraged to express their love and gratitude to God through music, singing and dancing.
| Communion – Children are taught about communion (the Lord’s Supper) on a semi-annual basis and when it is developmentally and spiritually appropriate, parents are encouraged to guide their children through communion during our quarterly family communion services.
| The Bible – Baxter Kidz ministry focuses on Bible-based lessons. Just as kids experience life in a highly interactive way, we teach the Bible in highly interactive ways, from acting out Bible stories, to making crafts that align with the Bible stories. Kids experience the Word of God rather than just hearing it.
| Community – God created us to be in relationship with Him and with others. We encourage friendships and create opportunities for kids to connect with each other.
| Service – At Baxter Kidz, we give children opportunities to contribute to our church body, developing leadership abilities and an attitude of service.
| Giving – The children in our programs have opportunities to give offerings to support a different ministry each year. Baxter Kidz has given to ministries both locally and internationally over the years.
